Hotel Maniitsoq is located in the middle of town overlooking the harbour, the sea and the mountains on the mainland. Maniitsoq is only 200 kilometres, or 45 minutes by plane, from the international Kangerlussuaq Airport. The Maniitsoq district is renowned for its fine angling opportunities both at sea and in the surrounding rivers.
 
The hotel has 20 pleasant rooms, one of which is a suite. Although there are no actual conference facilities, a meeting room is available that can accommodate 30 persons.
 
The restaurant, overlooking the harbour and fjord, can accommodate 75 persons and serves Greenlandic cuisine with inspiration from the continents.
The hotel also has its own wine import and a bar.
